Exmouth battled hard for scraps but were unable to secure and retain the ball for long enough to make any progress against a strong Barum side who were able to dominate the play for long periods through the very accurate positional kicking from their Fly Half. However this developing Cockles side should not be too disheartened as considering the pressure they were under the defence was good. Further work needs to be done to allow greater time with the ball, which will challenge these top teams.
