Okehampton 85 - 20 Exmouth

Exmouth's Under 10's travelled to Okehampton for this weeks game where the Cockles displayed excellent play, determination and spirit despite a 17-4 defeat.

An action packed game right from the start with Okehampton scoring 2 tries within the first few minutes. The cockles responded very quickly when Ben Dawson took off down the wing like a tornado to score Exxmouth's first try. The Cockles worked hard with great defending but despite their efforts Okehampton manged to break through to score further tries. Exmouth continued to put pressure on their opponents and Dawson broke away to score his second try.

In the 2nd Quarter, the Cockles continued with some great play and team work producing a brilliant drive some distance down the park into their opponents half but Okehampton ripped the ball to score again. The cockles fought with determination through rucks and mauls however, Okehampton gained possession from most.

The 3rd quarter saw Harry Sprague stormed through Okehampton's defence to score the Cockles 3rd Try.
The Cockles strengh shone in the final quarter gaining possession from a number of scrums and with the help of his team mates Ollie Cowley scored a forth try.

Despite a very challenging opposition, the Cockles kept focused and determined all playing a fantastic game. Man of the match was awarded to Owen Tidball for his all round play and his team work.
