Exmouth U12's win away at Tiverton with a great performance

The Exmouth under 12’s traveled to Tiverton on Sunday and put in a fine performance which resulted in their second win of the season. Straight from the kick off Tiverton were up against it, constantly being pushed back by Exmouth’s pressure play. Exmouth’s first try came from a scrum very close to Tiverton’s try line, the scrum was won and then Nick Eveleigh collected a pass and drove over the line. Exmouth’s pressure continued and with some nice support work from the team, Aaron Brigham-Jones managed to dodge a few tackles to get the second try. The third try was a fantastic solo effort from Jack Greenaway. About half way on the pitch a Tiverton player was making strides until Greenaway put in an immense tackle, he then picked up the loose ball and evaded the chasing Tiverton pack to score the try. The second half started and Tiverton were awarded for the way they had been keeping and winning the ball, when they got their one and only try. But the Exmouth lads did not let their heads drop and Brigham-Jones shortly got his second try from a well worked scrum. The last try was another great one to watch, after some nice build up play, Eddie Hooper went on a mazy run and almost made it until he was tackled, but the chasing Harvey Beatty rucked an advancing Tiverton player out of the way which allowed Hooper to get back on his feet to score the try. It was a great team performance and the lads were well chuffed with their win. Man of the match went to Harvey Beatty for the hard work he put in and how he made the last try.
