The Cockles 2nd team enjoyed a great afternoon at home against local rivals Cullompton 2s. Testing conditions for both teams however the lads effectively bossed the game. First half tries from front row Callum Wood and Andy Lendon, both converted by Skipper Sam Fulthorpe ensured a 14-0 lead. Harvey Ridgeway added a third before Cully added one of their own, for 19-5 at half time. Further scores from Connor Smithers and Oli Justice added to the total with another try for the visitors. Final score 29-10, with a deserved Man of the Match accolade for club stalwart Paul Flower who played a full 80 minutes for the first time in a while.
