An entertaining 80 minutes of rugby saw the visiting squad take the honours on the day.
Tries from Charlie Tribble, George Meadows, Dave Bargent, Matty Ryan, Andrew Smith and Henry Goldson with 2 conversions from the boot of Rich Cadywould were enough to take the win 34-19. Bridgwater & Albion did grab 3 tries and 2 conversions of their own. This was a fair outing for both sides, committed to play an expansive game and working hard to close a strong defence.
A key feature was the effort from the whole squad, current, returning and new players all showed up well during the afternoon.
Coach Pez commented there were plenty of small things to work on, as the lads head back in to training, ahead of further pre season games versus Topsham on Friday 23rd (7.00 pm) and Barnstaple on Saturday 24th August (2.30 pm).
