At EXMOUTH RUGBY we are proud to be a partner club to The WOODEN SPOON, the children's charity of rugby.

Raising funds throughout the year, our COCKLES family & friends have made a super contribution so far.

Wooden Spoon Devon recently added to their local awards, with grant funding to ESTEEM TEAM EXMOUTH, helping with a FAB LAB, including functional skills & training workshop. Our picture shows the official opening with Roger Hayward & David Fowler from Wooden Spoon.

Esteem Team work with children and young people who have additional needs and/or struggle with their mental health. Made up of a range of professionals who care about children's and young peoples mental health. Creating a safe and supported environment to allow them the chance to grow and reach their full potential. Passionate about empowering, enabling and equipping children and young people so that whatever bumps in the road they face, they have their emotional strength, coping strategies and the support network to succeed.

Esteem Team also support Parent/Carers of children and young people with additional needs and/or who struggle with their mental health. Offering 1:1 support and group support tailored around each family.

Wooden Spoon Devon have recently made local awards to Littleham Primary School, Mill Water School, East Budleigh and Vranch House Exeter, to name a few.

We are extremely proud to have helped in our own way.
