Honiton 2nd team made the short journey to the Imperial Ground and put up a real physical test for the Nomads. Never easy, this game was always going to be tight against a team looking to chase down league position, Honiton just behind The Cockles.
The first half was a real ding dong battle and you could hardly separate the team. Eventually the Cockles out muscled Honiton and ran out 29-13 winners. Tries came from Andrew Smith, Ian Wathes and Jack Downie with two of them converted. Wales Deaf International (retired) Prop Dave Wellbeloved bagged a 2 try tally and was deservedly voted Man of the Match. Well played to Honiton who put up big resistance.
