Our Sincere Condolences

News has reached us that Maureen Wright, passed away peacefully, at home in Lympstone with family at her bedside.

Exmouth RFC send our deepest sympathy and condolences to all her family & friends. Many involved in the club over a large number of years. Maureen is pictured with her family team at one of our Boxing Day fixtures.

Maureen loved the rugby club and whilst husband Tony was at the forefront in the early days of junior rugby, she was always there to support and take on roles. Maureen enjoyed watching games and took great delight in the success of the juniors and not that long ago presenting awards to the players. She always asked about results, had many lifelong friends at the club. Maureen was a Life Member at Exmouth RFC.

The family would be delighted to see as many as possible who can attend the funeral. Club ties, no black clothes please.

Funeral Service at The Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Exmouth (EX8 2JH) at 10am, Friday 19th August, followed by family cremation and afterwards at Exmouth RFC from 12 pm onwards. Maureen requested no black clothing at the celebration of her life.

Family flowers only, donations in her memory to Exmouth and Lympstone Hospice Care, via retiring collection or c/c Richard W Gegg & Sons, 47 Rolle Street, Exmouth EX8 2RS.
