I have been fortunate to work alongside an outstanding coaching group, with Ali Hill stepping up as Backs Coach and Stu Lowe joining as Director of Rugby. Their support and experience have been invaluable throughout my first season, helping to build a positive and driven environment across the squads during a period of change and transition.

The standout moment of the season was undoubtedly the First XV’s victory in the Devon Cup, securing the title away at Brixham Rugby Club after overcoming all three of the league’s top sides along the way. It was a proud day for everyone involved and a real highlight in my rugby journey.

Alongside this success, the squad has shown tremendous resilience in the league, finishing fourth and firmly establishing itself as a top four side. Despite a challenging run with injuries, the emergence of new players and the strength in depth, particularly with 2nd XV players stepping up, has been extremely positive.

To achieve a top four finish and lift the Devon Cup, in a season of transition, is something the entire club can take immense pride in.
