EXMOUTH RUGBY came together on Saturday 1st June to celebrate our COCKLES season, with those who make their mark each week, players, coaches, volunteers, family, friends, sponsors & supporters.

Along with presentations from familiar faces within our club, we were excited to be joined by Claudia MacDonald, Exeter Chiefs & England and Cliodhna Moloney, Exeter Chiefs & Ireland, to hand over some awards. Both have been integral in coaching our women's squad in their first season.

Nick Smith, Director of Rugby delivered mementos to retiring players, Jack Fahy & Matt Ryan. On the evening, as part of our 150 YEARS, discretionary 1st Team Caps were presented to a number of long retired players, Ian Jordan, Ricky Croal, Alan Pyne, Simon Tate with Neil & Adam Hooper, likely over 1,000 games between them, a very long time ago.

Steve Perry, Head Coach outlined a summary of achievements across our teams, as well as recognition of players who have made county, academy and international representation. Personal thanks also, to former player Alex Goldman, latterly coach across our sides who is stepping down, with Steve Pape who has moved on. A fine season.

Roger Holman, Honorary President presented bouquet's as a personal thank you and concluded the presentation with a few well chosen words of thanks.
