EXMOUTH RUGBY would like to congratulate Marine Adam Watts & Marine Rocca Hurley who completed the gruelling 36 weeks of Royal Marines Training, passing for duty, Friday 28 November 2025.

Our two COCKLES players, Adam 19 & Rocca 18, passed out with 379 Troop Royal Marines, who at the beginning starting with 43 men and finished with 21 ranks.

Both are also two of fourteen original members, seeing Rocca finish in the top four, as a Troop Diamond (section Commander).

Both are drafted to Commando Forces, seeing Adam joining Commando Helicopter Force Royal Marines and Rocca, 42 Commando - Maritime Operations Commando (MOC).

These lads came through our junior age grade & COLTS rugby, with Adam making several 1st Team appearances, a prolific try scorer.

The COCKLES have a proud history of producing youngsters who go on to hold a military careers, many reaching representative & rugby honours with Navy/RM, Army, RAF, with UK Armed Forces (UKAF). This includes Military Rugby World Cup (IDRC) medals.
