Harry Ottaway , an 18 year old colt gained the man of the match award having put in a fantastic performance at fly half in the absence of Tom Whelan and George Meadows. The latter , who suffered an injury in training last week. Harry can be seen pictured with match day sponsor Neil Sansom of C Sansom and Sons.

The league still needs to be the priority but the cup allows us to blood some impressive colts including Devon Under 20’s Sam Fulthorpe and Ethan Langson-Justice along with Ottaway. Tom Cooke, another colt may also feature in a squad likely to see a number of changes.

We look forward to welcoming back Sam Richardson, Tom Whelan, Tom Brown, Ben Hawley and Henry Goldson next week, all of whom were missing from yesterday’s win, which further strengthens just how impressive the win was.
