Exmouth Rugby Club have added to their engine room resources with the addition of Cullompton RFC and Exeter College Second Row Jack Fahy for the forthcoming season. Fahy was having an impressive season for Cullompton before a leg injury cut short his season in February. Fahy, a classmate of Exmouth fly half Andrew Powell at the College, is keen to test his rugby at a higher level, and goes with the blessing of Cullompton Coach Chris Wall who is happy for Jack to test himself in National League Rugby.

Exmouth player backs coach Jon Fabian comments:

'Jack has had a tremendous attitude towards learning whilst being an integral part of the Exeter College Rugby Academy over the past three seasons. He is highly motivated to break into the first team at Exmouth, and is a player who has always put his body on the line when I have worked with him in the past. He is a physical player who will contribute highly to the tight game as well as offering himself as a carrier in attack. He is a great team player who I am sure will be very popular with the guys at the club, and is just the personality type we are after at the club who will buy into our 'family ethos' and what we are trying to achieve. It is no secret that Bob Armstrong and Adam Wylie aren't getting any younger, and unless some miracle lotions come out, then it is unlikely that they will be 80 minute men week in week out. With the likelyhood of rolling replacements this coming season in National Three, the ability to rotate the bench and have impact players could have a positive impact on certain game situations.'

Fahy is pictured being welcomed to the club with Player Forwards Coach and fellow second Row, Bob Armstrong.
