The Cockles made an explosive start to the game! Straight from kick-ff a 40-metre break by Ollie Pyne put the home side on the front foot and, when the visitors were caught off-side, George Meadows slotted the resultant penalty.
The restart was again well fielded by the home side and, once play was quickly back in the Bracknell half, slick inter-play between forwards and backs allowed debutant
Henry Goldson the opportunity to run at the defence. He stepped inside, threw a dummy and left all in his wake as he cruised to the line under the posts and Meadows slotted a straight forward kick to make it 10-0.
