It was typical of the way things have gone for the Cockles this term that the visitors were able to depart with the bonus point.
Director of rugby Chris Wright said: “It was all so typical of the way things have fallen against us in many games this season. We were on our second penalty advantage in their 22 when we were held up in goal and thought we would be brought back for the penalty. Instead the referee gave us a five-metre scrum which would have been fine at any other time in the contest, but not when we were on two lots of penalty advantage!”
