The 1st and 2nd xv head off on a 'Road Trip' together this weekend on Club Social weekend

Big Weekend Ahead for the Cockles

The 1st and 2nd xv head off down the A30 together to Cornwall for a Double Header against Camborne this Saturday.

The #OneClub has been in full swing this season, with a number of double headers, some midweek fixtures , and some excellent 2nd xv fixtures in the South West Pilot League.

There will in fact be a second coach load organised this weekend with a supporters coach 'on tour' in Cornwall to support the Cockles. Chairman Ian Harris the 'party bus' organiser!

The 1st xv will look to defy the injury odds in an effort to get back to winning ways this weekend. Likely to again be missing up to ten 1st xv players, the Cockles have been hampered in recent weeks, but hope to become stronger and stronger in the coming games. The prognosis on centre Mark Wathes and Winger Matt Ryan does not look great, and Matt Dayment suffered another injury set back last night at training. Former captain Ross Morshead's availability is a big boost , as is the likely return of Centre Alex Goldman, and back three player Richard Bright.

Tinners and his band of 'Nomads' entertain Tiverton 3's at home , whilst the Colts are also at home against Teignmouth. So plenty due to be on at the Imperial Ground this weekend.

Regards

Jon
