A big weekend for Exmouth RFC

This Saturday sees the re-arranged game against Weston Super Mare (away) take place with a 1pm kick off. The whole league fixture lost was lost due to Storm Emma a couple of weeks ago, so we try again !

The 2nd xv take a break from league action this weekend , and with some juggling around, we have rearranged our league game against Clifton for later in the season. The 2nd xv had a game on Tuesday night v Wessex 1st xv , running out winners in an entertaining battle. The game was extremely worthwhile, and thanks must go to groundman Roger Holman and his apprentice John Justice for their work on the pitch for getting the game on.

Tinners and his Nomads are due to host Kingsbridge in a DMT 2 clash. The promotion race looks tight this year , and this fixture will be subject to a pitch inspection , such has been the rain the last few days.

JJ and his colts try for about the forth time to play Newton Abbot in their League game. With a spot at Sandy Park, already in the bag, this is a great opportunity to build some momentum, although they will be without their talisman and play maker Harry Ottaway, who will be on 1st team duty this weekend. And there lies the importance of the midweek A xv games, where a mixture of colts and fringe players get to stake their claim. Harry has been an outstanding performer this season in the colts and has always stepped up to the 2nd and 1st xv as and when required. The #OneClub ethos is working well, and long May that continue as we build for the future.

On a final note, a good luck message to all of those who are representing Devon Under 20's this coming Sunday. Further recognition of some sound performances, we are very proud.

1st xv team news to follow later today .
