Although the final outcome was never in doubt with the score at 36-5 to the Cockles at half time, it was the destructive nature that Exmouth 2nd XV dispatched Tiverton. The home side never gave up and scored 2 tries of their own. However the pace, ball handling and power from all the players shows the strength in depth across the club. Scoring 11 tries in total, scores came from Jake Inglis (2), Harvey Ridgeway (2) , Nick Headley (2), Sam Fulthorpe, Erin Inglis, Joel Ranft, Rich Cadywould and Harry Ottaway. Ottaway also converted 5 and Cadywould 1 to bring the final score 67-10. This was a great shift from all the players. Next up a trip to Okehampton for next Saturday

Nomads v Tiverton (Home)

Exmouth Nomads claimed a five point bonus win from Tiverton 3’s who arrived with 7 players, full credit to those lads. In the spirit of the game both sides mixed so that a short 12 a side game could take place. Exmouth scored 4 tries through Andrew Smith, Lloyd Murrin, Jake James-Graham & Ross Matthews all of whom converted their own scores with a drop kick conversion. Ross Matthews also scored for the opposition when switching sides. Man of the Match went to Sam Millardship in his first game returning from a broken collarbone. The Nomads ‘Nightshirt’ went to Harry Griffin this week, for only managing to play 4 mins before going off injured. Although the highlight of the day was Exmouth fly-half Lloyd Murrin sit down & run over the opposition open side Aaron Conway. Honiton away next weekend.
