Whilst the 1st xv lost to Bracknell, it was not all doom and gloom elsewhere for the club.
A seriously depleted 2nd xv gained two bonus points away at Drybrook in the SW Pilot League, losing 33-27 in a closely fought game. Considering the huge list of injuries and unavailabilities, and the fact that we travelled with just four backs , we can be proud for even raising a team, when perhaps others may have not ! Well done to Ali Hill and the boys.
Tinners and his band of brothers in the Nomads continue to thrive , especially on home soil ! Underhand recruitment tactics from the gaffa has seen players 'unable' to travel with the twos but who appear to put in a good shift for the 3's ... Well done To the Nomads - who won 66-5 against a revamped Cullompton 3rd xv.
Colonel Justice and his crew of Colts are having a storming season to date, and a comfortable victory over Honiton today is further proof of a bright future for the club, especially when you consider Dan Armstrong, Charlie Gibbings and Ned Mills , all fresh out of colts, all featured for the 1st xv today.
Tomorrow sees a number of Colts pull on the green jersey of Devon , in their under 18's clash with Cornwall. We wish them all well and are proud of their achievements to date.
