Ryan Morris becomes a Cockle and makes his debut in tonight's victory over Topsham RFC.

Exmouth RFC have signed Royal Marine second row Ryan Morris in time for the new season and is being sponsored by the Globe Inn, Lympstone.

Morris stands at 6ft 5 inches and made his Exmouth senior debut in the 85-12 victory over Topsham 1st xv in Tuesday's pre season friendly.

Director of Rugby Chris Wright comments:

"With the intended semi retirement of Stuart Lowe, in order to concentrate on his role as forwards coach, it was important that we were able to bring in someone to support Bentos and Jack Fahy in the engine room.

"Ryan is a local lad living in Lympstone and who works with our fly half Richard Cadywould at the Marine Camp as a personal trainer. He has been at the vast majority of our pre season sessions, and it is very clear that he is extremely fit, often dominating many of the fitness activities.

"We are thankful for the player sponsorship that the Globe Inn are providing and look forward to welcoming Mike and Angie to the Cockles throughout the season."
