Former Exmouth 1st XV team mates caught up recently when Exmouth Colts played Devonport Services. Surgeon Commander Anthony (Doc) Lambert OBE RN, presented Exmouth RFC, through Ian Harris, with a specially commissioned poster entitled ‘Medics Rugby Challenge’, one of 500 signed by the Plymouth based artist Brian Pollard.

The Medics Rugby Challenge is played annually between the Royal Marines and Peninsula Medical Schools. Since 2009 the event has raised over £100,000. Recent support went to the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund (RMCTF). The Medics Rugby Challenge will continue to be played on the Tuesday before Remembrance Sunday each year.
