O'Shaughnessy (18) came all the way up through the Exmouth ranks, whilst also playing for Exeter Chiefs Academy and Bicton College over the last two years. A versatile back row, Connor has benefited greatly from playing in the AASE league and Academy League and is comfortable as a 6 or 7.

Forwards Coach Stuart Lowe comments:

"Connor has a hard edge to his game, based upon aggression and a hard work ethic which are key ingredients for any back row player. He trained with the first team squad in the second half of last year and made a big impression with his positive attitude. It is great that we are seeing the benefits of a big investment in time and resource in our own junior section, as well as seeing the benefit of the Exeter Chiefs Academy system."
