Former leading try scorer and a product of the junior section of the club returns to the Cockles and is being sponsored by @UKProLtd

Former Cockle Richard Bright, returns to the Imperial Ground for the 17/18 season, and is being sponsored by UK Protection Ltd.

Director of Rugby Chris Wright comments.:

"Bright, who lives in Exmouth and played his junior rugby with us before heading off to the Championship with the Cornish Pirates, returns to us after a season with Taunton Titans. A very popular figure and an out and out gas man on the wing, Bright will combine playing with the Cockles, alongside some coaching duties at the club working predominantly with the Colts. Richard is a former leading try scorer for us, and we hope he will bring this quality back to the Imperial Ground.

"We are delighted to welcome Richard back to the club. We missed his try scoring capabilities last season , and he was a big loss on the eve of pre season that we were not able to replace. He ticks all the right boxes in our recruitment being an Exmouth guy, and a player who has come up through our junior section. He is a senior player and we expect big things from him coming back to the club and we hope to provide some coaching opportunities for him in the club as he looks to build on this aspect for the future"

Marc Jobson, Operations Manager for UK Protection Ltd comments, “We are absolutely delighted to welcome Richard Bright back to Exmouth RFC. UK Protection Ltd who provide high-end retail security and mobile guarding are very proud to sponsor Richard and look forward to seeing him running down the wing towards the try line very soon.”
