Well done to Roger Holman, Tristan Bassett, Richard Haynes, Rob Lowe, Sue Stone, Dawn Witkiss, Chris Witkiss and James Grant

Exmouth RFC values each and every one of its many volunteers, so we're very pleased to be able to nominate eight of them to be formally recognised for their voluntary work by the Mitsubishi Motors Volunteer of the Year Awards 2018. Launched in January 2017, these awards provide greater numbers of grassroots rugby volunteers with opportunities to be recognised and rewarded for their dedication to the game.

The nominations were submitted by Chairman, Ian Harris and President, David Bassett together with details of the voluntary work they have each undertaken for our club over a number of years.

Those receiving the awards this year are:
Roger Holman, Tristan Bassett, Richard Haynes, Rob Lowe, Sue Stone, Dawn Witkiss, Chris Witkiss and James Grant.

The presentation evening, one of 42 taking place around the country, will take place at Livery Dole Mitsubishi, Exeter on Friday 25th May 2018.

One volunteer attending each event will be selected as a Volunteer of the Year finalist, receiving an invitation to a black tie awards evening at Twickenham Stadium on Friday 7th September 2018. At the Volunteer of the Year evening in September, three volunteers will be announced as overall winners and will each receive a Mitsubishi vehicle for the year in recognition of their outstanding voluntary support for rugby.

Congratulations and well done to all eight volunteers, enjoy your evening and the best of luck in being nominated as a Volunteer of the Year finalist.
