Exmouth RFC have stepped up their recruitment with the arrival of 6 ft 5 inch second row Milo Reynolds from National One Side Cinderford

Reynolds is no stranger to many at the Imperial Ground , having played for Exmouth previously before leaving to go to the University of Gloucester. He has played National One rugby for Cinderford for the past two seasons and as such, will bring a lot of experience to the squad. He studied his Foundation Degree alongside current Cockles Jack Fahy and former team mate Andrew Powell, and is a local boy from Budleigh Salterton.

Head Coach Jon Hill comments:

"We are delighted that Milo is returning to his roots , and has chosen to play for us this coming season. He has developed hugely in the last few years gaining National League One experience and he will certainly bring a lot of athleticism and knowledge to our game. Milo is an athlete, and has a lot of credentials that tick boxes for us. He is a key line out forward, is an excellent ball carrier, he is fit, he is a local boy, and he is popular and known to many at the club. Character is a big thing at Exmouth, and he will fit in well with the guys.

"We model ourselves on a high work ethic and want players to do over and above for the shirt and the club. We have no rock stars and don't have the resources of a number of other clubs. We work hard with what we have and want players to understand the club and it's history. Milo matches this philosophy so we are really pleased he has signed.

"Massive thanks to Spoken cafe who are Milo's player sponsor. Our relationship with Spoken goes from strength to strength and it is with help from our partners and sponsors that we are able to punch above our weight in the National Leagues."

Milo Reynolds Comments:

"It is fair to say that Hilly has been onto me for a while and his persistence has paid off! I am absolutely delighted to be returning to play National League Rugby for my hometown club and can't wait to get started. The commute back to Cinderford has been hard for the past couple of months and the opportunity to play at a high standard in my hometown is one that I am delighted to accept"

George Nightingale of Spoken comments:

“Spoken is delighted to continue sponsorship of the Cockles for another year. After last year’s incredible performance it would certainly be difficult not to! What they have achieved for the town has been tremendous, and it is our privilege to support them moving forward to what looks to be an exciting season”
