Thomas, equally at home anywhere in the back row has always been a thorn in the Exmouth side when he has played against the Cockles and Forwards Coach Stuart Lowe is absolutely delighted to welcome Sam to the club:

"We were all hugely impressed with Sam's performances against us last season and he was one of a few stand out performers in the Devon County Championship squad at the end of the season. His performances against us in the Cup final and then a week later for Devon v's Somerset at Teignmouth really alerted us to his availability.

"A lot of our players mentioned that he was keen to come training and try out and see if it could work. His attitude and the way in which he has taken time to commit and make a decision shows how professional he is and also how the decision to leave Brixham is also a hard one for him, which we fully understand. Sam is extremely popular with a lot of our players and he has really bought into what we are trying to achieve here.
