Coach Jon Hill Comments following 30-28 victory away at Bournemouth

"A superb bonus point victory away from home came about due to a massive work ethic from the boys and an ability to grind out a win against a useful and dangerous side. Bournemouth RFC has not been a happy hunting ground for us in recent years so to fight back from a 20-deficit and to finish much the stronger side ,was extremely pleasing.

The impact of our bench was a key difference between the two sides with Charlie Gibbings, James Harris and Dan Powell making a huge contribution to the teams victory. Our scrum was once again very dominant and we felt somewhat aggrieved not to have been awarded a penalty try when we were pushing them over their try line and a Bournemouth Player broke his bind at the scrum and came through and kicked the ball away, without punishment.

Mark Wathes , Ollie Rice and Ollie Pyne were big performers for us today , with Pyne gaining the man of the match award.

Next week we welcome Brixham to the Imperial Recreation ground for a 2.30pm Devon derby clash. We should be boosted by the return of prop Will Goulden and Back five Forward Ben Hawley , with a number of others pushing hard for selection following the 2nd xv's 72-0 victory over Devonport Services."
