Head Coach Jon Hill comments in today's 24-16 loss to Brixham

"Brixham were very good value for the victory today and fully deserved to win. They were the best side out there today and managed to effectively execute their tactical game plan better than us. Their dominance in the first half was the key difference between the two sides, with very little to choose between us in the second.

"In the first half, Brixham dominated territory and possession, with a statistic likely to be around 85% in Brixham's favour. We did not help ourselves with a poor tactical kicking game, but it is fair to say that we were out worked and out thought in the first half, which is very disappointing.

"I was pleased with our response after half time, and we got ourselves in a strong position to give ourselves an opportunity. However, a costly yellow card and some clinical play from an impressive Brixham outfit took the game beyond us.

"We wish Brixham well in the final, and hope that we can learn from the today's loss. We unfortunately look like missing Scrum half Garry Hooper for the rest of the season, having damaged his shoulder and had to come off early in the game."
