The Exmouth under 11’s were at home on Sunday playing against the Exeter Saracens. It was only 5 weeks ago when Exmouth traveled to the Saracens ground and just lost in a very close game, so hopes were high for an Exmouth win this time round. The only problem was that the Saracens were far more organised and committed in every area in the first half as they run riot and scored 5 trys and with 4 successful conversions to lead 0 – 33 at the break. Exmouth did play better in the second half and the Sarecens were having to defend for long periods. Exmouth’s best period of play ended with a nice team effort try. They had slowly but surely worked their way up the pitch keeping the ball alive and a nice passing move followed which got the ball out wide to Kyle Webb, who evaded a couple of tackles to take the ball over the line. Exmouth couldn’t build on that try but it was still a good response after what had happened in the first half.
